Today we discuss a bit the first bloomers and why sometimes they are less than we desired.

Orchids blooming for the first time and just reaching maturity, might not be as wonderful as you expect. They can lack coloration, they can even be slightly mutated and also lack fragrance!

Second bloomings are usually much closer to what an orchid can do. Color and fragrance is usually present, but the older the orchid is, the better it will bloom!
